Bali Tourism Department is targetting 2,3 millions tourists to Bali in 2010 exceeding year 2009 where tourist visitors to Bali reaching 1,8 million visitors. Head of Bali Tourism department Mr Ida Bagus Subhiksu said that He confidents the target will be achieved as He sees the current development shows in January 2010 alone the tourist visitors to Bali is 6200 people in a day compared to last year same month in 2009 which only reach for 4000 tourist per day.
Subhiksi adds that tourism developments have seen improved since some international events will be held in Bali started by UNEP (United Nations Environment Programme), which has confirmed the meeting in Nusa Dua, 22 - 26 February, who will followed by approximately 5000 people including ministers from all nations.

Bali has also welcoming 40 cruise ships that brought approximately 45,000 people to harbour of Bali in year 2009.
